Blindsided? Start Here.
Career change at 50, without starting from zero.
What You Actually Need
If you’ve been laid off, had to care for a parent, or got hit with a major reset, you already know that willpower can only take you so far.
What comes first.
What comes next.
And what to stop wasting your time on.
Why I Built This
I’ve lived the pivots.
Career changes. Layoffs. Caregiving. The kind of stuff that can knock you flat if you don’t have a plan.
I worked my way through three career changes after 50. This is the plan I built from that. It’s not theory. It’s what I used.
That’s why I built the 30-Day Career Comeback Plan.
It shows you what to do when you’re trying to get your footing again.
It’s for people who want a path, not a pep talk.
What's Inside
The 30-day plan helps you stop freezing up or spraying resumes everywhere and start making a move that could amount to something.
About Second Act Brand
Welcome! I’m T.L. Walters, founder of Second Act Brand. I spent 13 years as a public speaker, went back into precision machining, and later worked five years as a remote content creator for a major SaaS company. Then, at 68, I was laid off. That’s when I started Second Act Brand.
None of it looked like a plan while I was living it. It looked like a winding road. But every turn taught me something I couldn’t have learned by staying put, and that’s what I bring to you now.
Your experience isn’t the obstacle. It’s the asset. Second Act Brand exists to help people 50 and older take what they’ve already lived through and turn it into what comes next: a new career, a steadier mindset, and real digital skills that actually work.
This isn’t about finding a job. It’s about building a life that still has some fight left in it. If you want the full story, it’s on my About page.
